Set of 6 Koepel Danish Dining Chairs

Sourced in Denmark, this set of six dining chairs designed by Neils Koepel, has the sculptural presence Danish design of the 1950s is known for. Each chair has a sweeping, wing-shaped backrest that curves outward at the top, set on slender tapered oak legs with turned stretchers. The upholstery is a soft sage green wool-blend with cream ribbed stripes, and the whole set is in the same fabric.

Turn a chair around and you'll find a warm teak-veneered back panel, a detail you rarely get to see in a room because it's finished as carefully as the front. That makes these a good choice for a table that sits in the open, where chairs are seen from every side.

Before the chairs ship, we will restore the oak frames, and the price includes that work. The restoration brings out the grain and warmth of the wood while keeping the character of age. The fabric is original and in good condition.
