Danish Lounge Chair in Rose Wool
A Danish mid-century lounge chair with an open, sculptural frame in warm blond beech. The bentwood arms sweep forward in a graceful S-curve, set off from the flared, wing-shaped back, a signature of 1940s–50s Danish design. The back is tufted with three buttons, and the deep, generous seat is finished with cream piping that outlines the cushion.
The original upholstery is a soft dusty-rose wool with a tweedy, flecked texture. It's a gentle, sophisticated color that pairs beautifully with warm woods, creams, olive greens, and deeper earth tones. The tapered legs and clean lines keep the chair light in the room, while the wide seat makes it truly comfortable for lounging with a book.
Yhe frame is sturdy with a lovely honey patina, and the upholstery is in very good vintage condition. A rare find that works as an accent chair in a living room, bedroom, or reading nook.
