Danish Teak 7-Drawer Tall Chest

This 1960s Danish modern teak chest brings serious storage and quiet elegance to any room. Seven generously proportioned drawers are fronted in beautifully grained teak veneer, each with a sculpted, inset pull in rich dark teak that gives the piece its signature mid-century character. The top drawer has a keyhole escutcheon, a lovely period detail that hints at its original purpose for keeping treasures close.

Raised on tapered, turned legs with a solid wood stretcher, the chest feels light and airy despite its height. Its slim 17" depth makes it a smart fit for bedrooms, hallways, and tighter spaces where a traditional dresser would overwhelm. Use it as a tall bedroom chest, a dresser alternative in a small room, or a handsome catch-all for linens, clothing, or hobby supplies.

The warm, honey-to-chestnut teak tone is rich and even, with the natural grain showing throughout. Vintage wear is present, as expected with a piece of this age, and adds to its authenticity.
