An iconic early example of Eero Saarinen’s Tulip design, this marble-top coffee table was produced by Knoll Associates in the 1950s and retains its original hot foil label. A sculptural centerpiece with timeless modern appeal.
This Coffee Table came from a prestigious Carroll County estate full of vintage original Knoll and Herman Miller designs. This Table was acquired for a metro DC architects office and remained in the family until we purchased it. The Table has a very heavy metal base, unique to the earliest production of these famed tables. The marble Top has a small chip as seen in the photos. The Original Knoll label with the Madison Ave address confirms it is an early piece produced between 1957 and 1961.
