Few chairs defined the mid-century modern moment quite like the Eames Bikini chair — and this set of four, dressed in their orange vinyl bikini pads, is the real deal.
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced during the Herman Miller era, the DKR (Dining height, K-wire base, Rod base) features the iconic welded steel wire shell in its classic grid pattern, mounted on sleek black rod bases with the original brass-tipped feet intact. The orange vinyl bikini pads — covering the seat and upper back in that signature two-piece style — are in good vintage condition, with the kind of rich patina that only comes with age. There are a few cracks in the vinyl. See photos.
These are ready to use as-is or to style around your existing table — as shown here paired with a Saarinen-style tulip table (table not included).
