Thank you for shopping with Vintage MC! Because we offer a unique blend of vintage (authentic, curated vintage) and contemporary (brand-new contemporary goods), our return policies vary depending on what you purchased.

Vintage Items (Furniture & Antique Decor)
Policy: All Sales Final (No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges)
Due to the unique, historic, and one-of-a-kind nature of vintage furniture and antique home décor, all sales are final once items leave our physical shop or are dispatched for delivery.
- No Future Warranties: Because these items are often 40 to 70 years old, we cannot guarantee them against future wear and tear.
- Know Before You Buy: We work hard to disclose any age-appropriate wear, character marks, or restoration details in our item descriptions. We highly encourage you to inspect items carefully in our Downtown Frederick showroom before purchasing.
- If You Are Shipping Vintage Furniture: If you are purchasing furniture online for nationwide delivery, please ask as many questions as you'd like before purchasing. We are always happy to provide additional photos, detailed videos, or schedule a phone call to ensure you know exactly what to expect.
Contemporary Items (Gifts, Jewelry, & Lifestyle Goods)
Policy: 14-Day Return Window
We want you to love your new finds! For our contemporary inventory—including non-vintage gifts, jewelry, barware, and home accessories—we offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery or in-store purchase.
- Condition of Returns: To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unopened, in their original condition, and returned in their original packaging.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Local customers may return eligible items directly to our Downtown Frederick shop at no additional cost.
- How to Start a Return: To initiate a return for an eligible online purchase, please email support@vintage-mc.com and include your order number.
Damaged or Broken Items (Shipping Issues)
We take great care in packaging your items, but occasionally damage can occur during transit.
- Inspect Immediately: Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
- Reporting Damage: If an item (vintage or contemporary) is damaged during shipping, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@vintage-mc.com. Please include clear photos of both the damaged item and the shipping box or packaging.
- Our Solution: Once notified, we will work closely with you and the shipping carrier to reach a fair resolution, which may include filing insurance claims, coordinating repairs, or providing reimbursement when appropriate.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:
- Custom Services: Furniture restoration, refinishing, or other custom workshop services.
- Sale Items: Any item marked as sale, clearance, or purchased using a clearance or liquidation promotion.
- Gift Cards: Physical or digital gift cards.
